Sparco brand ambassador Noah Cronje will return to competition this weekend in the penultimate round of the MSA Northern Regions ROK Karting Championship at Vereeniging Kart Circuit.
Cronje, a rookie in the 2023 season, currently ranks third in the championship standings with four podium finishes. He achieved his best result during the opening round at the Formula-K Circuit, where he finished as the runner-up in the second heat. Besides facing stiff competition this weekend, the Easy Life Kitchens-backed driver returns to the Vereeniging Kart Circuit, where he last competed in May 2022 in the Bambino class before being crowned the national champion.
“It’s been quite some time since we’ve raced in Vereeniging and a welcome change. It’s a flat circuit with many direction changes, so a balanced setup is crucial to extract the best lap time. It will also be good preparation for the upcoming national,” stated Cronje.
Saturday morning will see a ten-minute Warm-Up Session (07:55) followed by a ten-minute Qualifying Session (09:28). Three 10-lap heats (11:06, 13:51 and 15:43) will conclude the day’s racing.
