Universal Racing’s Tyler Robinson will return to Zwartkops Raceway this weekend, again looking to impress in the Astron Energy Polo Cup Championship’s final round as the National Extreme Festival concludes.
Tyler secured her best qualifying result in May at the Pretoria circuit, when the AF Fans-backed driver placed third after moving up to the Superpole Shootout. She also recorded her best finish of fourth that day. However, this weekend, a determined Tyler will look to claim her first podium after a challenging season that includes several race retirements and non-starts.
“I always look forward to racing at Zwartkops, but it’s a bit bittersweet that the season is ending. On the bright side, it’s my final chance to show what I’ve got and make my mark. I’ve had some tough races this season , but I am determined to set things right. The fans in Pretoria are amazing, and I’m sure we can make this weekend’s final round truly spectacular,” said Tyler.
Tyler will hit the circuit on Friday for the first of three practice sessions before the crucial Qualifying later that afternoon. Saturday will feature two races, closing the curtain on another entertaining Polo Cup season.
