The young team members thoroughly enjoyed all the action. The rough terrain challenged the reliability of the vehicles and the pit crew was on constant standby to keep the vehicles running.
Out of a field of 23 entrants, the Daniel Pienaar Motorsport team ended the day as follows:
The DP Polo, piloted by Devilliers Wessels with navigating teacher Mr. Francois Anker, took 10th place overall and 1st place in Class ARC 5.
The DP Golf, piloted by Ulrich Roberts with navigating teacher Mr. Wesley Schultz, achieved 11th place overall and 2nd place in Class ARC 5.
