The QVWI Motorsport team is set to compete in the third round of the CompCare Polo Cup this weekend, where driver, Farhaan Basha, is determined to secure his maiden race win.
The one-make Cup series, which has been running for 27 years, is returning to Zwartkops Raceway after a break of two months. This will be the first of two rounds hosted at the Pretoria circuit. Basha, who is currently ranked third in the championship, achieved a maiden podium at the last round held in Cape Town.
Basha declared they are fully prepared for the upcoming Polo Cup race, known for its exciting and intense competition. The Polo Cup is highly regarded for its close and thrilling racing that is considered one of the most captivating in South Africa. The Zwartkops circuit was designed with spectators in mind and is shorter than most circuits. The circuit is always filled with enthusiastic fans cheering on the racers, making it an excellent opportunity to showcase one’s brand.
Please note that Round 3 will consist of three practice sessions on Friday at 08:45, 11:20, and 14:40. The qualifying session will also take place on Friday at 16:20, followed by three races on Saturday at 11:00, 14:10 and 16:25. All races will be live-streamed on the Extreme Festival Facebook page, so be sure to tune in and not miss a single moment.
