The Aldo Scribante Raceway in Gqeberha, Eastern Cape, witnessed a remarkable feat as Goscor Lift Trucks-backed Arnold Neveling triumphed in all three Extreme Supercars Driven by Dunlop races at the weekend. This made it a proud moment for the Goscor Lift Trucks and Bobcat-One Tough Animal gang of supporters and spectators alike.
While originally entered to compete in the restricted GT3 class, Neveling and his team at Stradale Motorsport were forced to remove the restrictor on the Audi R8 GT3 LMS EVO and enter the A+ class, as a suitable and specification-correct restrictor was not available. This led to Neveling qualifying in the outright pole position before winning all three races on Saturday ahead of Stuart White.
“While we had not planned to change classes, it was out of our hands. In the end, it worked out very well for us as we were able to keep Stuart (White) behind us for all three races. Personally, it was also exciting to unleash the Audi and drive it unrestricted around this circuit which is generally a very quick lap. To do so in front of the Audi fans, the sponsors and the general public was really awesome. Thanks to everyone for the support this weekend,” stated Neveling.
Round 6 of the Extreme Supercars Driven by Dunlop heads to the Border Motorsport East London Grand Prix Circuit on 26-27 July.
