As the 2024 Extreme Supercars – Driven by Dunlop season reaches its thrilling conclusion, the Goscor Lift Trucks-backed Arnold Neveling leads the charge into the weekend’s final round, holding the provisional top spot in the overall championship.
The Audi R8 LMS GT3 driver will compete in the unrestricted A+ class at Zwartkops Raceway, hoping to leave a lasting impression on sponsors and the passionate Zwartkops crowd. The Bobcat-liveried Audi has garnered significant favouritism with spectators this season, and Neveling is persistent about providing the fans with an exhilarating performance to cheer for. The Johannesburg driver has also been in good form, winning five of the last seven races.
“It’s really the perfect venue for the final round, with the fans usually packing the grass embankments. It also allows the sponsors to come out and enjoy the day with us. As for the championship, it’s pretty close so we’ll have to be at our best this weekend. The last time we were out at Zwartkops, we were still in the GT3 class, so we’ll be covering the lap much quicker this time. Thanks again to my sponsors for their support,” said Neveling.
