As the second half of the Extreme Supercars Driven by Dunlop is set to get underway this weekend, Goscor Lift Trucks-backed Arnold Neveling will make his first 2024 appearance at the Aldo Scribante Racetrack in the Stradale Motorsport-prepared Audi R8 GT3 LMS EVO.

Ranked an impressive second in the overall championship standings, Arnold is about to engage in a fierce battle with some of South Africa’s top driving talents. The competition is heating up, with some of the quickest Supercars in the country ready to test their mettle. In the GT3 class, Neveling will be pitted against, amongst others, his on-track rival Jonathan du Toit in a similar GT3-spec Lamborghini. The stakes are high, and Neveling is determined to improve his standing in the championship. Three heart-pounding 12-lap races await, set against the backdrop of the spectacular Aldo Scribante Racetrack with its tight turns, fast sweeps, and numerous elevation changes.

“The Aldo Scribante Racetrack is a high-speed circuit that perfectly suits our style. I’ve had the privilege of tearing up this track in various race cars over the years, but the Audi, with its lightning speed and superior handling, is my absolute favourite. I honestly can’t wait to get out there and show off the Bobcat livery to what is always a packed and appreciative crowd,” said Neveling.

The 16-race program on Saturday will start at 10:10. Spectator tickets can be bought at the Aldo Scribante Racetrack entrance gate for R100 per person. Children under 12 can enter for free. The entire race day program will be broadcast live on the Extreme Festival website – https://extremefestival.co.za/live/.
