Following his impressive performance at the Kyalami round of the Extreme Supercars – Driven by Dunlop, internationally experienced race driver Arnold Neveling returns to pilot the Bobcat-One Tough Animal-liveried Audi R8 GT3 LMS EVO, sponsored by Goscor Lift Company.
With Round 4 scheduled for a Zwartkops Raceway showdown this coming weekend, Stradale Motorsport’s Neveling will be looking to claim that elusive victory in the GT3 class and elevate himself up the championship table, which currently sees him occupy third place in class and second overall.
He will have four practice sessions on Friday to dial in his setup before qualifying begins on Saturday morning. Once the grid has been set, two 15-lap races will decide the day’s winner.
“Looking forward to competing again this weekend, especially around the Zwartkops Raceway. With the straights not as long as some of the other circuits, the racing is often quite closer and offers good entertainment to spectators. Zwartkops is always well attended and the spectator friendly environment allows the public to stroll through the pits which creates good interaction. Hopefully all will go well and I can once again showcase the amaing Bobcat livery to everyone,” said Neveling.
Saturday’s 15-race programme starts at 10:05. Spectator tickets can be purchased at the Zwartkops Raceway entrance or by emailing info@zwartkops.co.za. The full race day will also be broadcast live on https://extremefestival.co.za/live/.
