Get ready for an exhilarating weekend of high-octane karting! The 2023 National Kid ROK Champion, Kayde Cornofsky, is set to take the circuit by storm at the long-awaited opening round of the National ROK Cup Kart Championship at Red Star Raceway. This is Kayde’s second season in the fiercely competitive Mini ROK class, and he’s entirely focused on claiming the 2025 championship.

Hailing from Johannesburg, Kayde will be competing under the guidance of Leeroy Poulter and the Xtreme Racing Team, a partnership that has yielded impressive results in the past. With a strong team behind him, Kayde is poised to make a bold statement at a circuit that will host two rounds of national competition.

Kayde extends his gratitude to his valued sponsors – Canario Cornofsky Attorneys, Calisto’s Portuguese Restaurant, Allegiance Properties, Smith Garage, and the 357 – whose unwavering support has been instrumental in his karting career.

“I’m truly grateful to everyone who has contributed to my karting journey,” said Kayde. “Without your support, I would not have been able to have the success I have had thus far. It’s been a long break, and I am excited to return to competitive racing, where I’ll be completely focused on winning this year’s championship. It’s a tough class, but I know I have what it takes to be successful.”

The weekend will commence on Friday with practice sessions, paving the way for an exciting day of racing on Saturday. The event is free and open to spectators, making it a perfect opportunity for fans to experience the excitement of ROK karting up close.
