Jarrod Waberski faced a tough weekend in Round 7 of the GB3 Championship at Donington Park on 6th and 7th September. Despite challenges in qualifying, Jarrod managed to push through the field and secure valuable points as he looks ahead to the final round of the season.

Qualifying proved difficult, as Jarrod’s position was hampered by a red flag, leaving him unable to complete a fast lap and placing him 13th on the grid. Despite this setback, Jarrod remained determined throughout the weekend.

Jarrod made quick progress in the first race, moving up to 10th by lap 3 and ultimately finishing in 9th place, showcasing his ability to navigate through the pack on a track that is not known for good overtaking opportunities.

The second race brought tricky track conditions, with the wet circuit drying in some areas as the race progressed. Jarrod started 16th on the grid and worked his way up to 13th, demonstrating his adaptability and perseverance.

Jarrod started 13th in the final race, narrowly missing out on the reversed grid advantage. Despite a challenging race, he managed to finish in 12th place.

Reflecting on the weekend, Jarrod commented, “Qualifying is so important in GB3, and unfortunately, things just didn’t come together, so the whole weekend was on the back foot. We battled with the car all weekend and the changing weather conditions further exacerbated the issue. Thank you to everyone for the continued support.”

Jarrod now sets his sights on the final round of the year at Brands Hatch on 28 and 29 September, where he aims to end the season on a high note.
