Fresh from a hat-trick of wins at the Aldo Scribante Raceway, Stradale Motorsport’s Arnold Neveling will be looking to replicate those results as Round 6 of the Extreme Supercars – Driven by Dunlop returns to the Eastern Cape and the East London Grand Prix Circuit.

Neveling, backed by Goscor Lift Trucks, will again be fighting off the challenge of the A+ competitors in his beautifully prepared Audi R8 LMS GT3 EVO while taking on the challenging 3.92 km of the historic circuit that hosted several Formula One races in the ’60s.

Home to the notorious Potters Pass Curve, the circuit will again be a hive of activity. Neveling aims to consolidate his lead in the class championship while attempting to close the three-point gap to Jonathan du Toit (GT3 class) for the overall championship honours.

“No doubt this will be another exciting round of Extreme Supercars-Driven by Dunlop with some of the country’s fastest race drivers pushing the limits of their cars while trying to stay on the track through Potters. It also has one of the best sections of racetrack in the country that sees spectators packed in which is more like an amphitheatre. Our goal will obviously be to get the car setup for both the fast bits as well as the tight and twisty bits and hopefully snatch another pole position on Saturday morning,” said Neveling.

Spectators can purchase tickets at the circuit entrance on Saturday, 27 July. Tickets are R100.00 per person, and children under 12 enter for free. The entire race day programme will also be broadcast live on https://extremefestival.co.za/live/ .
