Leyton heads off to the famous streets of Norisring this weekend for Round 2 of the BMW M2 Cup.
The Norisring is a picturesque street circuit in Nuremberg, Bavaria, Germany. Established initially as a motorcycle racing venue in 1947. The track became known as a sports car racing venue in the 1970s and is deemed the “Monaco of Germany”. The circuit presents unique challenges and leaves no margin for errors. The tight confines of Norisring will undoubtedly suit Leyton’s precise driving style. “I am very excited to face the challenges of Norisring. I have done as much as possible to prepare for this weekend and feel very confident of a good result this weekend,” said Leyton.
The race weekend starts today with a 45min Free Practice Session and Qualifying at 6pm. Saturday and Sunday are race days with two 30 Minute Races.
