Luhan De Wet, the young driver from Centurion, is nearing the end of his season. However, before the final MSA Northern Regions Rotax Karting Championship this weekend, he has made some crucial changes. After a successful Bambino season, De Wet has partnered with WORR Motorsport for the remainder of 2023 and the entire 2024 season. He will also compete in the Micro MAX class, starting this weekend at the Formula-K Kart Circuit.
While De Wet has recorded six victories and nine further podiums in his 2023 Bambino season, he remains the only driver to finish on the podium at every event. He makes his Micro MAX debut despite still being able to challenge for the regional championship.
De Wet thanks the support of De Wet Automotive Performance Service & Repairs, Duratec Batteries Centurion, Alunite Pretoria and WORR Motorsport. Saturday will commence with a Warm-Up Session followed by Qualifying before three race heats conclude the day’s racing. Entry is free, and spectators are encouraged to attend.
