Kayde Cornofsky, the current Kid ROK championships leader, will compete in the third round of the MSA Northern Regions ROK Karting Championship in Benoni this weekend.
Cornofsky has proven to be a formidable contender, having won five out of six heats that see him hold a six-point lead over second-placed Logan Billau. The Xtreme Racing Team driver will compete over the 1570-metre anti-clockwise D-Layout of the Formula-K Kart Circuit as with the previous round and will be adamant about extending his winning streak.
Cornofsky confidently stated that he’s off to a great start this season and is determined to maintain his exceptional performance in the upcoming round. Despite holding a slight lead, he remains focused and determined not to become complacent. With several adept drivers on the grid, Cornofsky recognises the need to bring his A-game to secure another victory.
Cornofsky thanks Canario Cornofsky Attorneys, Calisto’s Portuguese Restaurant, Allegiance Properties, Smith Garage and the Xtreme Racing Team.
Qualifying starts at 09:14, with three race heats to follow at 10:59, 13:38 and 15:56, respectively. All heats will be eight laps.
