Fresh from the ROK Superfinals in Italy, Mikel Bezuidenhout returns to South Africa and the Formula-K Kart Circuit in Benoni for the final round of the MSA Northern Regions Rotax Kart Championship.
Currently ranked sixth in the Senior MAX class, the MTN Cosmo-Net / Vivo Mobile SA-backed driver has endured a challenging debut season and is looking to end it on a high. With several sixth-place finishes recorded as his best result, the Johannesburg teenager has accrued 312 points this season and is fifteen adrift of fifth.
“It’s always good to return home,” said Bezuidenhout. “It was quite the experience in Italy, and hopefully, I can convert some of the knowledge gained into some strong results this weekend. If anything, I’d like to grab a podium this weekend.”
Saturday will commence with a Warm-Up and a Qualifying Session ahead of three race heats. Entry to the event is free, and spectators are encouraged to attend.
