South African driver, Jarrod Waberski, is in Belgium this weekend for the third round of the 2023 GB3 Championship which will be taking place at Spa-Francorchamps on 3rd and 4th June.
Jarrod has proven to have good pace so far this season, but has had some challenges with the ever changing weather conditions.
“Back home, we are blessed with great weather. We generally race in full dry or full wet conditions, so it has been a bit of a challenge to adapt to the partially wet conditions that we have experienced so far this season. Fortunately, this weekend looks to be dry and I am ready for it,” explained Jarrod.
With the weather looking favourable, Jarrod’s next challenge is the fact that he has never raced around Spa before. This, however, has never stopped the BRDC Rising Star before and fans can be assured that Jarrod will be giving 100%.
Despite 2023 being Jarrod’s debut GB3 season, the Fortec driver is tied 10th in the points standings and is amongst some of the most talented drivers from across the globe.
“The 25 strong field is exceptionally strong and I am truly blessed to have this opportunity. A massive thank you to everyone for their support,” concluded Jarrod.
All three races will be streamed live on the GB3 platforms.
