Volkswagen Polo SupaCup out for Red Star Class win
Volkswagen Motorsport moves to the second round of its 2023 South African Endurance Series campaign looking for a repeat Class D victory for Daniel Rowe this time paired with Graeme Nathan in their Volkswagen SupaPolo at the Red Star 3 Hour in Delmas on Saturday 29 April.
“Fortunately for me Keagan Masters is doing duty overseas so I have been brought out of retirement for the three hour race at Red Star. It has been a while since I had a competitive outing in Motorsport but really looking forward to it,” said Graeme Nathan. “We have a few very quick Class D rivals, so the Red Star 3 Hour will be more of a flat out dice than a game of wit and strategy for the team. We can’t wait!”
“We had a really good weekend at Zwartkops, so we’re hoping for much the same at Red Star,” Daniel Rowe confirmed. “The tight and twisty Red Star Raceway offers its own challenges, and this will be a fast race. But we are ready and the team is excited at the prospect of back-to-back Class D victories in Delmas. I am also really looking forward to sharing the car with my mentor Graeme.”
“Red Star should prove a different challenge for Daniel and Graeme,” Head of Volkswagen Motorsport Mike Rowe concluded. “Our highly adaptable SupaPolo is up to the challenge and the team is excited about our Delmas prospects, so bring it on!”
