Gqeberha’s rising karting star, Aashay Nagura, is set to ignite the track this season as he sets his sights on the National ROK Cup and Northern Regions ROK Karting Championships. Red Star Raceway, the new home of ROK Cup karting in South Africa, will host the national and Northern Regions competition opening rounds on 14-15 February, the first of two combined national and regional events on the 2025 calendar. Following a solid 2024 outing, the 13-year-old talent returns for another exhilarating season in the ultra-competitive Mini ROK category, ready to take on the best young drivers in the country.

Aashay embarks on his 2025 campaign with renewed determination and joins the esteemed Kokoro Racing Academy, a move that promises to elevate his performance on the track. With expert coaching and a dedicated team behind him, Aashay is focused on building consistency and fighting at the front of the pack.

In 2024, Aashay also gained valuable international experience, competing in an IAME event and the ROK Super Final in Italy. These high-profile events tested his skills against some of the best young karting talents worldwide, further sharpening his competitive edge.
