Arnold Neveling was crowned the Extreme Supercars – Driven by Dunlop Champion on Saturday, 19 October, following another dominant performance in his Goscor Lift Trucks-backed Audi R8 LMS GT3. Neveling, who races out of the Stradale Motorsport stable, competed in the championship’s final round at Zwartkops Raceway, capping off a successful season.

After claiming another pole position, the Johannesburg driver led both races from the lights to go unchallenged before taking the chequered flag in front of his sponsors and an appreciative Zwartkops crowd. While Neveling set the pace throughout the weekend, he registered the fastest lap of the day, with a sub-fifty-nine lap time. Having competed across both the GT3 and A+ classes, Neveling accumulated enough points to be crowned the overall champion.

“It’s been a remarkable season,” said Neveling. “Not only has the car been reliable, allowing me to race hard without any real concerns, but Goscor Lift Trucks’ support has made it phenomenal. They have been fundamental in my success this season, and words cannot describe how grateful I am. To have them at the circuit has been really encouraging and they have really gone the extra mile for me. I am happy that I could reward them with the championship.”

Neveling also extends his thanks to ATSMotorsportSupplies, Pagid Racing SA and Ravenol SA.
