The weekend began with Jarrod topping the time sheets during Friday’s practice sessions, which set the tone for qualifying, where Jarrod secured a 5th place grid slot. In the first race, he made an impressive start, moving up to 4th on the opening lap. By the second lap, he briefly dropped to 5th but quickly recovered to 3rd, maintaining this position as the safety car came out. The race resumed with four laps to go and Jarrod held his ground to finish in 3rd place, earning a well-deserved podium.

In the second race, Jarrod started from 4th on the grid. He maintained his position throughout the race, finishing in 4th place, demonstrating his consistency, competitive edge and ability to withstand huge amounts of pressure.

The final, reverse grid, race saw Jarrod starting from 8th position. Despite a strong start, the race was interrupted by a safety car on the first lap. As the race progressed, Jarrod faced challenges, dropping to 10th by lap 7 and eventually finishing in 12th place.

Reflecting on the weekend, Jarrod said, “I’m thrilled with the podium finish in the first race. The car was fantastic, and we had great pace. Although the final race was tough, we still managed to consolidate points for the championship. Massive thanks to Elite Motorsport for their incredible support and hard work. We’re already looking forward to the next round.”

The next round of the championship will take place at Donington Park on 7 and 8 September.
