Jarrod Waberski, delivered an impressive performance during the second round of the 2024 GB3 Championship at Silverstone last weekend (27 – 28 April). Competing for Elite Motorsport, Waberski showcased his skill and determination, leaving a lasting impression on fans and competitors alike.
Starting from 8th position, Waberski faced intense competition as the lights went out. Despite losing a position at the start, he fought back with determination. The race unfolded dramatically, culminating in a side-by-side battle on the final lap. Waberski’s tenacity paid off, as he crossed the finish line in an impressive 7th place.
The second race, originally scheduled for Sunday morning, was postponed due to adverse weather conditions. The race eventually took place in the afternoon, with water still pooling on the track and Waberski demonstrated his mettle. Launching from 9th to 6th position into turn 1, he showcased remarkable racecraft. By lap seven, he found himself navigating three abreast through corners, he absorbed pressure from his rivals like a seasoned pro and held onto his position, ultimately securing a commendable 6th-place finish.
Unfortunately, there was no third race due to the unforeseen weather conditions.
“Overall, a decent weekend scoring good points, we just missed out in the last phases of qualifying, with the tires overheating, costing us in the end. Nonetheless, we had the pace, being in the top 3 quickest throughout the weekend.

The next round of the championship will take place at Spa on 1 – 2 June.
