After 4 hard fought rounds of point-scoring in KZN, Gauteng, Port Elizabeth, and Cape Town, we are proud to announce the reigning MSA Drag Racing National Challenge Car and Bike winners of the MSA Drag National Challenge series. This was a watershed moment for drag racing as it marked the first time in the history of South African Drag Racing that a national challenge competition was held in multiple circuits and in multiple provinces.hard-fought
Terry Yannikakis has piloted his Rotary-Powered Mazda F1000 Bakkie throughout South African drag strips to take home the most points in the Car Category, making him the MSA Drag National Challenge winner. Terry hails from Kwazulu Natal and has faced fierce competition to earn his National Challenge Drag Racing accolades which culminated with him winning the final round of the MSA National Challenge at Killarney International Raceway in November of 2023.
Keith Moonsamy is currently the fastest Biker on the African continent with a blistering time of 8.36 seconds, exiting @ 259km/h. To add to his reputation is the title of the MSA Drag National Challenge winner of the Bike Category in his BMW S1000 RR. Even though he did not make the eliminations in the final round of the challenge, Keith, representing Gauteng, accumulated enough points over the previous 3 rounds and took home the fastest biker in the MSA Drag National Challenge.
