A group of twelve ROKKERS will represent South Africa this week as they participate in the calendar’s most significant global ROK karting event. Competitors worldwide will gather at the South Garda Karting Track, Lonato, for the 21st edition of the event, which will run from 11-14 October 2023. Not only does the prize money for the competition exceed €50 000, but champions will also receive new engines. Additionally, the best drivers in each category will be awarded other prizes, including Levanto tyres, OMP equipment and more.

As preparation, several South African drivers competed in the ROK Cup Trophy at the same circuit this past weekend, achieving mixed results. While some lacked the experience to compete internationally, others were unlucky. Regardless of the outcome, these drivers will have gained valuable knowledge ahead of the Superfinal.

Drivers competing this weekend are:

• Aaron Mason
• Mattao Mason
• Joshua Moore
• Caleb Moss
